About Technology Conservation Group
After spending nearly a decade involved in various aspects of the electronics recycling industry, Hamilton Rice noticed the industry as a whole was becoming less concerned with the long term impact it was having on the environment for the sake of profits. In 1996, Hamilton set out to build a company that was committed to environmentally responsible recycling – and Technology Conservation Group was born.
Today, TCG provides secure and responsible IT Asset Disposition (ITAD), secure data destruction and electronics recycling services designed to maximize returns without sacrificing the environment. Our business model centers around the R2 standard, the most advanced voluntary certification in the industry, which is designed to protect people, protect the environment, preserve resources, protect data and requires legal compliance. Maintaining R2 certification involves significant investment and requires TCG to submit to rigorous annual third-party audits, but it differentiates us from most electronics recyclers and provides customers with the assurance that our services are trusted, secure and environmentally compliant.
From humble beginnings in Citrus County, Florida – home to our corporate office – TCG has expanded our footprint to include processing facilities in Louisville KY, Portland OR, Guadalajara MX and Monterrey MX.
-Our Vision…is to be the industry leader and your “One Source One Solution” provider for all of your ITAD and electronic recycling needs.
-Our Mission…to provide electronics management while setting the standards for responsible certified R2/RIOS recycling by maximizing re-use opportunities, while eliminating landfill disposition.
