Preservation of the earth is the key to our future…

Technology Conservation Group takes great pride in our local community and feels strongly about doing our part to protect it. We firmly believe that education is the key to creating and maintaining a clean environment and realized we needed a way to encourage the public to recycle and raise awareness of the harm to the environment from materials that end up in landfills when electronics are disposed of improperly. With this goal in mind we formed the TCG Community Outreach program, a 501c3 not-for-profit organization created to support the projects that promote environmentally-responsible behaviors.

So far TCG’s Community Outreach program has provided support for Adopt-A-Shore, Adopt-A-Street, and electronics takeback programs in addition to sponsoring community education programs on recycling at home and in the workplace. 

Tours

Instilling the importance of recycling in our children at a young age helps them to develop a positive, lifelong habit of recycling. To start the educational process, TCG Community Outreach schedules age-appropriate facility tours and visits local classrooms to distribute educational recycling materials. It is our belief that by introducing students to the concept of recycling and teaching them how they can go about recycling at home it will become a part of their everyday lives.
